Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem took in $18.03 million in table-games revenue in January, No. 1 among Pennsylvania casinos.
In a statement distributed by PRNewswire, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said statewide table-game revenue rose 4.8 percent to $74.4 million. The Sands Casino in Bethlehem saw a decline of about a half-percent.
The Sands reported total gaming revenue of $39.4 million for the month, down 4.3 percent from January 2018. That was second to Parx Casino, which took in $49.5 million in January.
Statewide, gaming revenue reported by the 12 Pennsylvania casinos totaled $254 million, just over a quarter of a billion dollars, in January. That is a 2.2 percent increase over the year-ago month.
