PPL to Report Quarterly Earnings May 2

PPL Corp. will report its first-quarter earnings May 2 before the start of regular trading hours.

The Allentown, Pennsylvania-based utility said in a statement that Chief Executive Officer William Spence and other executives will discuss the earnings and the company’s outlook in a 10 a.m. conference call.

On Feb. 14, PPL forecast 2019 earnings of $2.30 to $2.50 per share. The company did not provide a forecast for the first quarter.

PPL shares closed at $30.97, down 12 cents, on April 18.
