This Week in Lehigh Valley Business: Air Products Presentation, Shift4’s Isaacman Waits for Good Weather for SpaceX Mission

—Jeff Ward, Lehigh Valley News Briefs

As of Sunday morning, Shift4 founder and Chief Executive Jared Isaacman was still waiting for good weather to take off in Polaris Dawn for a chance to make a spacewalk.

The SpaceX craft has been delayed multiple times because of bad weather in Florida. Isaacman, who has flown into space before, is the mission’s commander.

Shift4 processes payments for hotels, restaurants and other businesses. The company has been expanding in North America and Europe.

Air Products will make a presentation on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Jefferies Industrial Conference in New York.

Sidd Manjeshwar, vice president for investor relations of the industrial-gas company, will talk at the conference at 8:05 a.m. There is a link to the webcast below.

That is about it for scheduled events from big Lehigh Valley traded companies.
