Altronics Security, a Bethlehem-based alarm and video-surveillance company, has been acquired by Pye-Barker Fire & Safety.
Pye-Barker, based in Atlanta, did not disclose the price of the deal. It said Altronics serves commercial customers in eastern Pennsylvania and other states.
Altronics has a satellite office in Saylorsburg, Monroe County, in addition to its Bethlehem headquarters. It provides fire and burglar alarms, closed-circuit television, central monitoring and other security services. The company was founded in the 1950s.
“The Altronics team will continue to serve customers in Pennsylvania and the tri-state area,” the Pye-Barker press release said.
