Pennsylvania Median Home Price Was Steady at About $305,000 in August

The median price of a home in Pennsylvania was $305,000 in August, about the same as in July, according to the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors.

That price was up 7% from August 2023, when the median price — the midpoint — was $285,000.

The association said 11,514 homes were sold in Pennsylvania in August, 1% below the year-ago number. Listings in August were 37,664, up 3.5% year-on-year.

The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors is based in Lemoyne, Cumberland County, and represents more than 39,000 Realtors in the state.
