U.S. Navy Band Jazz Ensemble to Perform at Phillipsburg High School

The United States Navy Band Commodores Jazz ensemble will stop at Phillipsburg, N.J., during their 2024 national tour.

All performances are free and open to the public. See the Navy band website for information. Some concerts may require reservations, so check the site!

The Phillipsburg performance will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 at Phillipsburg High School, 1 Stateliner Blvd.

This year’s tour features the music of Duke Ellington, 125 years after his birth, and the 100th anniversary of the birth of vocalist and pianist Sarah Vaughn. There will also be original music by members of the Navy Commodores.

The Navy Commodores have been performing since 1969. The current band has 18 members.
