A new pizza restaurant is on the way to the Shops at Bethlehem, better known as the strip mall anchored by Giant on Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Township.

Spice Crust Pizzeria has posted permits for work at the vacant spot between the Yurconic insurance agency and Lehigh Valley Martial Arts Academy.

In addition to Giant, the shopping center has a Poke bar, Chopstix Express, dry cleaner, PetCo and others, and a Dairy Queen is on a separate pad within the center. There are about 820 parking spaces at the Shops at Bethlehem, according to a real estate ad.

Permits posted in the window of the restaurant-to-be did not note an opening date.
