Shift4, a Lehigh County-based payment processor, has added the Jacksonville Jaguars to its client roster.
The National Football League team will use Shift4’s technology to handle payments for ticket sales at EverBank Stadium.
Jacksonville is one of three NFL teams in Florida, along with the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Jaguars are 2-8 and in last place in the American Football Conference South Division.
Upper Saucon Township-based Shift4 has hundreds of thousands of clients: hotels, restaurants, sports teams, arenas, casinos and other businesses. It processes credit-card payments.
Shares in Shift4 (NYSE:FOUR) were trading at $98.39, down $2.98, at 12:09 p.m. Thursday. At that price, the company’s market capitalization was $8.87 billion.
