A New Jersey man who traveled to Upper Saucon Township to have sex with a girl has been convicted and faces what could be a very long sentence. He was 36 when these assaults started, and the girl was 12.

District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan announced a jury has convicted a New Jersey man of all charges related to the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Upper Saucon Township.
Spartak A. Fedorovich, DOB 4/17/1986, of Phillipsburg, N.J., was found guilty of two counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse; three counts of Statutory Sexual Assault; and one count of Unlawful Contact with a Minor involving Sexual Offenses all felonies of the first degree. Additionally, he was convicted of Aggravated Indecent Assault, a felony of the second degree; Corruption of Minors and Endangering the Welfare of Children, both felonies of the third degree and Indecent Assault of a Person Less than 16, a misdemeanor of the second degree.
The jury returned the verdict Nov. 14, 2024 after a trial before Judge Robert L. Steinberg. Fedorovich’s bail was revoked and he is scheduled to be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12.
Fedorovich’s jail sentence could range from 10 to 146 years in prison.
The case was investigated by Upper Saucon Township Police Detective Matthew Faherty, The Officer David M. Petzold Memorial Digital Forensics Laboratory of Lehigh County, with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police Cellular Analysis Technicians Unit. The case was prosecuted by Chief Deputy District Attorney Sara A. Moyer and District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan.
On Oct. 13, 2022, Upper Saucon Township Police were dispatched to a home in the township for a report of suspicious activity. An investigation revealed a 13-year-old girl had been meeting with Fedorovich in secret.
The victim told law enforcement she had been in a sexual relationship with Fedorovich since age 12. At the time of the offenses, Fedorovich was 36 years old.
The investigation revealed on at least 10 occasions, Fedorovich traveled between his home in New Jersey to Upper Saucon Township to sexually assault the victim.
