JPMorgan Chase to Open Branch in South Whitehall at Intersection of Walbert Avenue, Cedar Crest Boulevard

— Jeff Ward, Lehigh Valley News Briefs

JPMorgan Chase, one of America’s Big Four banks, will open a branch in South Whitehall Township.

While some national banks are closing branches, Chase has been adding them in the Lehigh Valley and eastern Pennsylvania.

The new branch will be at the southeast corner of Walbert Avenue and Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to a federal banking regulator report. Chase will be across Cedar Crest from a Truist branch on a busy office and retail strip.

The bank will refer to the new branch as its Allentown Cedar Crest office.

JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM), along with Citibank, Bank of America and Wells Fargo make up the country’s Big Four banks.
