The fire that started at the old Dixie Cup factory in Wilson Borough is out, Northampton County Executive Lamont G. McClure said on Facebook.
McClure cited Northampton County Emergency Management.
The old paper-cup plant closed decades ago and has been little used at times but mostly vacant.
Whether today’s blaze affects plans to convert it into apartments is not clear. Probably not though.
The factory is off 25th Street and is visible from Route 22.
