LVPM operates Channel 39, a digital-media operation and WLVR radio.

Typical meetings involve a financial report, usually showing that the organization’s endowment — once $82 million — keeps falling.

LVPM has spent millions on pet projects and ran an $8.66 million deficit in fiscal 2023.

It has by its own admission no real direction and has been pondering a “transformation” for more than a year.

Whatever that means.

The Bethlehem-based public outlet has also not had a full-time chief executive for a year.

It’s a mess. It has about $74 million of public money that nobody monitored for a long time.

One item that may come up tomorrow is the status of WLVR, the radio station owned by Lehigh University that for some reason what is now known as Lehigh Valley Public Media started managing in 2019.

Another bad move.

Check in at 1 p.m. to see what this organization does next.
