Six Flags Entertainment will close two operations in Bowie, Maryland, at the end of the season.
The resort company said Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor cover about 500 acres. The land will be marketed for redevelopment.
Six Flags (NYSE:FUN) owns Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in South Whitehall Township.
The company owns a total of 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks and nine resorts across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, according to a company statement.
Six Flags said CBRE will market the Maryland properties.
