I just received this text:
“Hi, it’s Carol Obando-Derstine – Democrat running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th District.
“I’m running because frankly: I’m pissed.”
I could do without the urine reference. COD, as I’ll call her for Crude On Delivery, apparently think she’s being daring or bold by using a crude term.
Actually, she’s just being stupid. She’s used the term before publicly and apparently feels it’s inspiring. It isn’t. If this is her slogan, it may be appropriate for bathrooms walls but not a serious campaign.
She’s trying to run for high office, not arguing with a teenager. Really stupid.
My response to the text:
You’re “pissed.” That’s crude. Don’t contact me again. That’s very stupid. You are a moron or your staff consists of morons.

COD is the second Democrat to announce candidacy for the 7th District, which is held now by first-term Republican Ryan Mackenzie.
Northampton County Executive Lamont G. McClure announced his candidacy earlier.
I was going to block COD, but I want to see just how low she can go.
Hey COD: We’re not all juvenile.
COD is the candidate chosen by Susan Wild, the Democrat who held the 7th District seat earlier.
I was going to block further texts, but I want to see just how stupid this COD campaign can get.
Note to COD campaign: 13-year-olds can’t vote.
