Lehigh Valley Ramblings Suggests a Third Candidate May Seek the Democrats’ Nomination for Congress

The first Democrat to announce a bid for the Lehigh Valley’s seat in the U.S. Congress was Lamont G. McClure, the Northampton County Executive.

Then Carol Obando-Derstine announced a bid.

Her platform is simple and stupid: “I’m pissed.”

Really. I couldn’t make that up. COD has the support of Susan Wild, the Democrat who lost to Republican Ryan Mackenzie last November.

I suggest COD expand her vocabulary.

Now, Lehigh Valley Ramblings says a third person may enter the 2026 race against first-termer Mackenzie.

This person has some interesting credentials, but that works both ways.
