White House to Withdraw Nomination of Isaacman to Run NASA, CNN Says

The White House will withdraw the nomination of Jared Isaacman to lead the National Aeronautic and Space Administration, CNN and other news outlets reported.

Isaacman is founder and chief executive of Shift4, a payment-processing company based in Upper Saucon Township.

As of 9 p.m. Saturday, the Shift4 website had no statement about the change.

Isaacman’s appointment required U.S. Senate approval.

Isaacman is a billionaire who has been to space twice on rockets from SpaceX, a company controlled by Elon Musk.

Shares of Shift4 (NYSE:FOUR) closed Friday at $94.79.
