Bethlehem’s Planning Commission will review a proposed three-story, six-unit apartment building behind the Retro Burger restaurant at 1223 W. Broad St.
The commission will discuss the potential construction, which will have parking spaces on the first level. The addition would be behind the restaurant, facing Schaffer Street.
The commission will also go over a plan for a four-story, 37-unit apartment building at 934-946 Evans St., a vacant lot that was once the Casa Blanca Club. There would also be a 40-space parking lot, with access from Evans Street.
There is another plan up for review, for six apartments at 241 Eighth Ave.
“The applicant proposes to demolish the (existing) structure and construct a three-story structure with gable roof, containing six-multi-family dwellings (apartments),” according to the agenda.
The City of Bethlehem Planning Commission will meet at 5 p.m. today, Thursday, July 10. Here is the agenda, which includes links to the YouTube broadcast of the meeting.
Agendas are subject to change. The meeting will be held in Town Hall on Church Street, next to City Hall.
