Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Equinox Agency of Emmaus, Lehigh County, for an undisclosed price.
Equinox is an employee health and benefits consulting firm, according to the Gallagher statement. The business will still be led by Thomas Grove and Dan Gagnier at its current location. Equinox will be part of Gallagher’s Northeast region.
Equinox has about 30 employees, based on a list on its website. Its address is listed as 402 State Ave. in Emmaus.
Gallagher & Co. (NYSE:AJG) is an Illinois-based insurance, risk-management and benefits-consulting company. It operates in more than 130 countries.
Shares in Gallagher was trading at $308.24 at 3:56 p.m. on Monday. At that price, the company has a market capitalization of about $79 billion.
