Man to Serve 7 to 14 Years in Prison for Selling Fatal Dose of Drugs

A 50-year-old man faces 7 to 14 years in jail for selling the dose of drugs that killed a man in North Whitehall Township.

Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan said Dennis Allen Yenser Jr. of Huntington pleaded guilty today to a felony charge of drug delivery resulting in death.

Holihan said Chase Elliot Frable, 19, was found inside a North Whitehall home in 2021, dead from methamphetamine and fentanyl toxicity.

District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan announced a man pleaded guilty in connection to a 2021 fatal drug overdose that occurred in North Whitehall Township.
Dennis Allen Yenser Jr., DOB 9/6/1974, of Huntington, pleaded guilty today in a hearing before Judge Robert L. Steinberg to a felony charge of Drug Delivery Resulting in Death. Yenser’s trial was scheduled to begin today before Judge Steinberg.
Steinberg sentenced Yenser to serve 7 to 14 years in state prison after Yenser waived his right to a pre-sentence investigation. The remaining charges were withdrawn.
On Aug. 19, 2021, state police were called to a home at 3410 Lil Wolf Drive in North Whitehall Township for a death investigation. Chase Elliot Frable, 19, was found dead inside the home. Frable died from methamphetamine and fentanyl toxicity and his death was ruled accidental by the Lehigh County Coroner.
An investigation revealed on Aug. 18, 2021, Frable had contacted Yenser and purchased
methamphetamine and two other pills while in the parking lot of the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem.
Items found in Frable’s possession at the time of his death included a plastic baggie with a clear substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and both a pill and residue that tested positive for fentanyl.
Yenser delivered the drugs that caused Frable’s death.
During the course of the investigation, Yenser absconded from Pennsylvania State Parole several times and was a fugitive. On April 21, 2023, Yenser was located in Center Valley by a member of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and taken into custody.
The case was investigated by Pennsylvania State Police Cpl. Chad Burry and prosecuted by Senior
Deputy District Attorney Ramma R. Mineo and Chief Deputy District Attorney Kevin McCloskey.
