The Lehigh County Board of Elections will hold a public test of the equipment that counts and records mail ballots on Oct. 30, according to a legal notice posted by the board.
The test of tabulating equipment will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Bureau of Elections & Voter Registration Office on the bottom floor of the Lehigh County Government Center, 17 S. 7th St., Allentown.
Public tests of election equipment are routinely held.
Early and mail voting is increasing, according to USA Facts, with 29% of 2024 ballots nationally cast by mail.
