OraSure will make a presentation Wednesday to the investment community.

The Bethlehem-based maker of diagnostic kits and other medical devices will also take questions at the Stephens Annual Investment Conference on November 19, with a question-and-answer session at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

OraSure shares (NASDAQ:OSUR) have been falling for years. The closing price Monday was $2.25, little more than half of the 52-week high of $4.22.

Chief Executive Carrie Eglinton Manner likes to discuss OraSure’s “three pillars of transformation” but it will take more than jargon to sway the institutional investors who control the majority of shares.

The Stephens conference is being held in Nashville. Stephens is a financial firm, whose services include investment banking, research, sales, trading, wealth management, insurance and more.

OraSure was founded in 1988 as SolarCare, a maker of disposable sunscreen wipes. The company’s product line now includes OraQuick, a test for HIV, and InteliSwab, a COVID-19 test. Both are designed for use at home.

The company also makes specimen-collection devices for the medical industry.
