Shift4, the Lehigh County-based payment-processing company, is going to take care of food and beverage transactions at the home of the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals play their National Football League home games at Paycor Stadium. The team is in the American Football Conference’s North Division, and has a 3-7 record so far this year.
Shift4 says its point-of-sale systems can get lines moving faster, to the benefit of fans who pay a lot of money to sit at NFL games.
“Our goal is to make every transaction as smooth and effortless as possible so fans can focus on the excitement of the game, not the checkout line,” Michael Isaacman, chief commercial officer at Shift4, said in a company statement.
Shares of Shift4 (NYSE:FOUR) closed at $67.65, down $2.23, on Monday. The company has a market capitalization of $6 billion. The shares are trading at little more than half of their 52-week high of $127.50.
Shift4 processes credit-card payments at restaurants, hotels, casinos, stadiums and other businesses. It is expanding into other businesses, such as handling payments for charitable giving. The company’s headquarters is in Upper Saucon Township.
