Lafayette College football player Darson Jeanty has entered the transfer portal, according to his post on social media.
The junior linebacker was part of a Lafayette squad that went 8-4 in 2025, falling just short of winning the Patriot League.
Lafayette lost to rival Lehigh University in the final game, costing the Leopards the title and a playoff bid in the Football Championship Series division.
“It’s in my best interest to enter the transfer portal and continue my academic and athletic career elsewhere,” Jeanty’s post said.
Lafayette lists Jeanty as No. 8, a 6-4 211-pound player from Hillside, New Jersey.
