A Bethlehem property that can serve as a warehouse, office and retail operation has been sold for $1.45 million.
The property was once the home of Bethlehem Sporting Goods, which closed several years ago.
Northampton County property records recorded the sale of 826 Monocacy St. on Dec. 3. The property has a gross floor area of 20,045 square feet. The lot is three-quarters of an acre.
The buyer is PA Monocacy, a limited liability corporation (LLC) based in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. The seller was another LLC with a generic name, 826 Monocacy Equities, that bought the property in 2018 for $700,000.
The price has more than doubled in seven years.
Here’s how a real estate ad describes the property:
“The property is within walking distance of Historic Bethlehem and has ample available parking for multiple uses including retail, office, including medical clinics or labs, personal services including tailor, travel agency or massage therapy and veterinarian office. The property is well maintained and has a newer roof, kitchenette area and updated restrooms.”
