Bethlehem Township to Swear In Three Police Officers, Vote on Budget Tonight

Dec. 15, 2025

— Jeff Ward, Lehigh Valley News Briefs

The Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners will welcome three new police officers at tonight’s meeting, the last of 2025.

Patrol Officers Brandon J. Jones, Gabriel A. Rodriguez and Giovanni P. Pallotta-Mussetti will be sworn in, according to tonight’s agenda.

The commissioners will also vote on the township’s 2026 budget. The proposal does not raise taxes.

This is the last budget submitted by Township Manager Doug Bruce, who is retiring next year. The township has begun a search for his replacement. See this link for his budget message from October.

Bruce’s statement is not sugar-coated. The township is in good financial shape, but he notes, “annual expenses and revenues are extremely tight.” Every dollar coming in is being spent.

The Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners will meet tonight, Monday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. in the township municipal building at 4225 Easton Ave.

Agendas are subject to change. Here’s the township website, which includes a link to the Internet broadcast of tonight’s meeting.
