An office building at the interchange of Routes 512 and 22 has been sold for $5.5 million, as multi-million-dollar deals become common in the Lehigh Valley.

The buyer of the Park Plaza building is Community Options, a non-profit group based in Princeton, N.J.

Here’s the organization’s mission, from its website:

Community Options believes in the dignity of every person, and in the freedom of all people to experience the highest degree of self-determination. Embracing this philosophy, Community Options provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Park Plaza is at 3400 Bath Pike in Hanover Township (Northampton County), near the Bethlehem city line. The property is across Route 512 from the Apple Tree Plaza shopping center, home to Panera and other retailers.

The Park Plaza land covers almost 7 acres.

A real estate ad describes 3400 Bath Pike as “a prestigious commercial property located in the thriving city of Bethlehem, PA. This impressive office building offers a prime location, modern amenities, and a professional atmosphere,” and notes the proximity to Routes 22 and 512.

Northampton County recorded the sale as of Dec. 12. The seller was PPPC Associates.
