The Stahley’s properties on Hanover Avenue were sold for $1.98 million, according to Lehigh County property records.
The sale of the two properties was recorded in October, according to the county website. The sports bar and family restaurant has been open for 57 years and continues to serve the public under new ownership.
Stahley’s has stayed open under its old name and continues to serve old favorites including clams and cheesesteaks.
County records show the sale of 1824-38 Hanover Ave., which included the Stahley’s restaurant, housing and parking, and 1810-14 Hanover Ave., a parking lot.
Lehigh Financial Group arranged financing for the transaction, according to an earlier press release. The new owner is Zonia Sibri, who said in that press statement that she would keep popular menu items and add breakfast.
“I want to keep the same items they have now, the clams, cheesesteaks, cheeseburgers, Black Diamond steak, the soups, but I’m also bringing back breakfast,” she said.
Property prices do not reflect all the costs of a transaction or the value of items such as inventory that may have been sold with a business.
The property buyer is listed by the county as JS Prop, a limited liability corporation based in Bethlehem. The seller was a family trust.
Stahley’s has been open since 1968 and is known for its large bar, big menu and good prices.
