Macungie Man May Serve Almost 10 Years for Involuntary Manslaughter, Parole Violation

Hosheem Klotz, 33, of Macungie may serve almost 10 years in state prison for involuntary manslaughter and a parole violation.

He was convicted Dec. 11 of charges stemming from the 2023 death of Mastapha Brown of Allentown, according to a statement from Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan.

Brown, 38, died of head trauma four days after Klotz struck him several times outside a restaurant on North 10th Street.

Judge Thomas M. Caffrey sentenced Klotz today, Holihan said.
