Two young men may face lengthy prison sentences after pleading guilty to a rape and false imprisonment in Slatington, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan said in a press release today.
Jacquan Tanasse, 19, and Tristan Zawick, 23, both pleaded guilty to rape, conspiracy to commit rape, false imprisonment and conspiracy to commit false imprisonment, according to Holihan.
Tanasse also pleaded guilty to a strangulation charge. He faces up to 44 years in prison. Zawick faces a maximum sentence of 54 years, according to the D.A.’s statement.
They will be sentenced May 28 by Judge James T. Anthony.
The victim of the assault on Feb. 7, 2025, was a 17-year-old female, according to the press release.
