Agno Pharma, a Northampton County-based company that makes ingredients for drug companies, has acquired a Hanover Township building for $5.9 million.

The company acquired 177 N. Commerce Way as of Feb. 9, according to Northampton County records. The seller was Wagner Holdings. County records say the building has a gross floor area of 32,423 square feet.

Agno Pharma has been in an acquisitive mood. In January, the company bought an Oregon laboratory and manufacturing site.

Agno Pharma was established in 2004. It is a CDMO — contract development and manufacturing organization — that serves the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Agno Pharma makes sterile materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and other products.

The company’s headquarters is at 3894 Courtney St. in Hanover Township (Northampton County). Agno Pharma refers to that building as its Bethlehem site. It also has two facilities in China.

Record of sale from Northampton County.
