Bethlehem City Council will get another look tonight at the seven-story 107-unit apartment building proposed for the west side of the Walnut Street Garage.
Tonight’s agenda includes a resolution in favor of the city’s Historical & Architectural Review Board (HARB) review of the plan. HARB is an advisory body that reviews the exterior appearance of buildings in the northside historic district.
The Walnut Street Garage is a block from Main Street.
The development on the western edge of the garage will include “a 7-story mixed-use building. The
building’s first-floor will contain commercial, retail, restaurant, and/or personal service spaces and the upper floors will house 107 dwelling units,” according to tonight’s agenda.
Bethlehem City Council will meet at 7 p.m. tonight to consider the HARB recommendation and other issues at Town Hall, 10 E. Church St. The meeting will also be broadcast on the Internet.
