Be sure to make new plans for Tuesday night.

Bethlehem City Council will not meet as scheduled Tuesday because not enough members will be able to attend, Council President Rachel Leon said in an email on Sunday.

However, President Leon will be at Town Hall on Tuesday evening to address constituent questions.

She said council won’t have enough members for a full meeting because of a “combination of medical leave and attendance.” She said council members attending remotely do not count toward a quorum.

A quorum is the minimum number of members needed to conduct business. Bethlehem City Council has seven members, so a quorum is a minimum of four members present.

The meeting was scheduled for 7 p.m. in Town Hall on Tuesday, March 3.
