A historic Bethlehem building that once was home to Lehigh Coal and Navigation has been sold for $6 million.
The Dodson Building at 528 N. New St. was home to the coal and canal company, and later other businesses, until it was divided into apartments about 15 years ago.
Northampton County recorded the $6 million sale on March 11. The buyer is Westwood Associates of Staten Island, New York, and the seller was Dodson RE, another limited liability corporation.

The county records say the property has 21 units and a total of 29,890 gross square feet.
If the 21 units number is correct, the sale prices is about $286,000 per apartment.
