— Uodates with Cole-Borghi’s bail set at $500,000.

Lehigh County’s Board of Commissioners will vote tonight on a $1.5 million grant for the new Fountain Hill Elementary School in Bethlehem tonight.
The money will come from Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, passed through the county to the Bethlehem Area School District.
The board will also vote on expanding the uses of a $62.4 million 2023 bond sale. If approved, $5 million can go toward work at the Cedarbrook nursing home, and $5 million toward an upgrade at the Lehigh County Authority Industrial Pretreatment Plant.
The “pretreatment” plant removes pollutants from industrial wastewater before that water goes through the usual wastewater treatment process.
The commissioners will also review several appointments to boards.
Whether Commissioner Zach Cole-Borghi will attend is a good question. He was charged earlier today with additional drug offenses. Bail was set at $500,000.
The Lehigh County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, March 25, at the government center, 17 S. Seventh St., Allentown.
Agendas are subject to change. Check the county website for individual agenda items.
