Six Flags to Report First-Quarter Results on May 7

Six Flags’ next earnings report is due May 7.

March 30, 2026

— Jeff Ward, Lehigh Valley News Briefs

Six Flags, owner of Dorney Park, will report first-quarter earnings May 7.

The quarter is not necessarily a big financial deal for the amusement-park company, with many attractions closed for the season for winter but Charlotte, North Carolina-based Six Flags may have a lot to talk about.

The company has been evaluating its properties, bringing new management on board and dealing with debt and the aftermath of the 2024 combination of Six Flags and Cedar Fair, the former owner of South Whitehall Township-based Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom.

Six Flags will report earnings early May 7, before the markets open, with a conference call at 8 a.m. that day.

The company has been busy, bringing on new Chief Executive John Reilly, adding a new executive chairman and selling seven properties.

An activist investor has sought change, and the new chairman was part of that. A bid to explore a sale of the entire company was Jana Partner’s other request. That has not been acted on, to date.

The company also recruited Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs to promote the Six Flags brand. The National Football League tight end is a lifelong fan of the parks, according to Six Flags. Kelce also has worked with Jana Partners on their review of the company’s operations.

Kelce is also famous for his engagement to singer Taylor Swift. His brother Jason was a center on the Philadelphia Eagles‘ last Super Bowl-winning team.

Shares of Six Flags (NYSE:FUN) have been stumbling, trading at $17.10 at 10:45 a.m., less than half of the 52-week high as the company grapples with debt. Bad weather was a big problem last year, according to Six Flags.

Here’s a cut-and-paste statement from the company:
