LANTA to Hold Meeting to Discuss June Service Changes

LANTA will hold a public meeting to discuss bus-service changes proposed to take effect June 15.

The Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority will hold its spring meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at 60 W. Broad St. in Bethlehem. The website says Monday, April 29, but a legal notice says Wednesday, and April 29 is indeed a Wednesday. I will check with LANTA just to be sure later today.

“We strongly recommend registering in advance,” LANTA says on its website. There are in-person, virtual and telephone options for the meeting.

There is also an option to submit questions on the website to be answered at the meeting.

The bus service’s most recent big move was to raise fares, as the price of everything is going up. It also changed some services in January.

The following changes are proposed to take effect on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Routes with No Changes

216, 319, 323, 325, 402, 403, 409, 410, 413, 422, 423, 431, 441, 501, 502, 506, 601, 613, 701, 702, 703, EBS Blue, and EBS Green.

Minor Alignment Changes

Routes 220, 312, and 327 will stop at Downtown Bethlehem EB (Walnut & New) after leaving BTC (Guetter Street). Buses will stop at both locations.
