Bethlehem Township will review Monday a request to extend a developer’s bid to meet approval conditions for apartments at a former scrap yard off Easton Avenue.
The apartments are proposed for a busy stretch of Easton Avenue, near Skateaway, the blue grillhouse, Notre Dame High School, a St. Luke’s office building under construction, and more.
Here’s the agenda item for the Board of Commissioners’ meeting:
— A motion to extend the developer’s obligation to comply with approval conditions,
pursuant to the conditional plan approval, for 4406 Easton Avenue Apartments to
December 31, 2026. —
The property at 4406-4418 Easton Ave., formerly ABE Auto Salvage, was approved earlier for 96 apartments. Residents raised stormwater concerns as the project off the intersection of Farmersville Road and Easton Avenue moved along.
From the June 19, 2023 meeting minutes:
… the plan is for a 3-story, 60-unit garden apartment building and a 3-story 36-unit garden apartment building with only one driveway. The driveway connection is proposed on Farmersville Road, with no vehicular access to Easton
Avenue. A building height variance was granted by the Zoning Hearing Board in March, 2020.
It’s on the agenda for the Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners’ meeting on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the township municipal building, 4225 Easton Ave.
Agenda items are subject to change.
