First, thanks to all who sent kind and constructive comments, and to Bernie O’Hare, who mentioned my work on his Lehigh Valley Ramblings site, the top blog in the region.
There is also the fine work of Rebecca Bartlett, who reports news on Upper Nazareth Township. Many townships have not been reported on in years. (See links to both below.)
Just a few notes … I’m still learning about the website. It will look better in time. My interest is content, not appearance, but it will improve and include better links, along with pictures and perhaps video.
I plan to post two to three times daily Monday through Friday, more if necessary. Usually in the morning. Sometimes on weekends, perhaps. If I miss a day, well consider that this is free.
I’m a month into my second retirement, but I am handling contract work so free time is limited. If I return to work full-time, I may change the blog schedule. Time will tell.
There is much to be told about the Lehigh Valley and few people to tell it. I hope to fill some of the gap. My main interests are government, corporate actions of companies based in the region (Air Products, PPL, Shift4, OraSure) and in some of large not-for-profit groups.
No “gofundmes.” People asking for money is not news.
As for comments policy, it’s just common sense. Be cool.
