Two Burglaries Reported in Hanover Township: Colonial Regional Police Seek Video, Pictures From Security Cameras

Two home burglaries were reported Friday in Hanover Township, Northampton County, according to the Colonial Regional Police Department.

The crimes were committed at homes on Cheryl Drive and Janet Lane. Both addresses are near Route 512 and Crawford Park.

Below, from the police:

On 12/06/2024 Colonial Regional Police were dispatched to the 5200 block of Cheryl Drive in Hanover Township for a report of a burglary. This was a forced entry burgarly while the homeowner was not at home. A short time later, police were called to the 4800 block of Janet Lane in the township for a similar burglary. The second incident also happened when the homeowner was not at home. Both incidents are estimated to have happened between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Police detectives are currently investigating both incidents as possibly being connected and are asking anyone in those nearby neighborhoods to review any security or doorbell cameras that may have any video or pictures of anyone connected with these crimes.
