The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has approved the new branch. The OCC regulates national banks.
The Fulton branch will be in a strip mall anchored by a Weis grocery store. The retail strip is at the intersection of South Greenwood Avenue and William Penn Highway, a few blocks west of 25th Street.
Fulton Bank is a subsidiary of Fulton Financial Corp. (NASDAQ:FULT), a Lancaster-based holding company. Fulton Bank operates in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Virginia.

Now the question becomes, does Fulton close its office a few blocks away at William Penn and Stones Crossing?
