Jefferson Health, the Philadelphia-based medical network, is cutting about 1% of its staff, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Journal reported earlier that Jefferson faces difficult choices just more than a year after taking over Lehigh Valley Health Network.

LVHN is now a regional brand controlled by Jefferson.
