Macada Partners has proposed putting six townhouses on a lot at 539 Brighton St.

The proposal before Bethlehem’s Zoning Hearing Board is for the removal of a single-family home, to be replaced by the six new homes, facing west.

Here’s the document filed with Bethlehem:

The Bethlehem Zoning Hearing board will consider the proposal at its 6 p.m. meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Town Hall. Here is a link to the agenda and the three proposals.

Agendas are subject to change. Check the city website closer to the meeting.

Below, a look at the plan:

Developers are akin to politicians, as far as I’m concerned. No concern for society as a whole, just for themselves and money. Perfectly nice house on a lovely lot that will now have townhouses shoehorned. I imagine the house on the corner of Jacksonville and Macada will fall victim to developers, too.
