Developer Abe Atiyeh has sold a Palmer Township property that was once used for truck parking.
Northampton County records say 530 Milford St. was sold for $1.9 million.
In addition to parking, a warehouse, an 84-unit apartment complex and a self-storage facility have been proposed for the site.
The sale by Atiyeh’s Exchange 3 limited liability corporation to Stack-Palmer & Milford, also an LLC, was recorded Jan. 23.
The new owner is based in Lehi, Utah, according to the county record.
Update: I’ve received this message about the new owner:
“Just to set the record straight: the Developer’s Entity isn’t “STACK” in the generic sense referenced in your article. The correct name is STACK STORAGE, a distinct self-storage developer and operator (see stackstorage.us), not the unrelated STACK real estate/service brand referenced in your piece.”
The website in the note above is for Stack Storage, based in Lehi, Utah. The website shows several Public Storage self-storage facilities, including local ones. There is also a listing for an Easton facility with no photograph.
Editor’s note: Note: a reader pointed out earlier that self-storage was also proposed for the site. I saw recent ads still promoting it as a place to build an apartment complex.
Palmer Township’s 2024 Planning Commission report described a project that was still in the approval process:
“An apartment building, consisting of a four-story building with a total of 84 units. This project is still coordinating plan approval conditions prior to recording and has not yet started construction.”
A real estate ad touted the site as ready for construction:
“Great Investment! Everyone is looking for apartment sites. Here it is, complete with plans for 84 apartment units. Convenient to William Penn Highway and S. 25th St. in Easton. Easy access for commuting traffic going in all directions. With much of the work done, and design completed, this site is one of the quickest turn around projects you’ll find. This is a location that will always be popular for renting, long term value on location, accessible to shopping, schools, employment. Don’t hesitate to look at this site today.”
Below, a record of the sale. Before this month’s $1.9 million transaction, the 2.9-acre property was last sold in 2018 for $600,000.

Jeff, this is now proposed for a self storage building.

Yes. It was still being marketed as a potential apartment site. With the new buyer, just about anything could happen now.
