The Northampton County Housing Authority will meet Monday to consider several contracts, including one for cleaning common areas at the Oliver Border House, Nazareth; Howard Jones Manor, Bath, and the Goepp Street Apartments in Bethlehem.
The authority (NCHA) meeting agenda lists occupancy rates for the three subsidized residences: Oliver Border House, 92%; Howard Jones Manor, 90%, and Goepp Street, 93%.
Applicants for housing must meet eligibility standards, and there is a waiting list.
“NCHA maintains the waiting lists for three other subsidized housing buildings that are privately owned and operated. Applicants would have to be determined eligible by NCHA guidelines before being submitted to the landlords for final approval of tenancy,” according to the authority’s website.
The Northampton County Housing Authority Board of Directors will meet at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, April 27, at Howard Jones Manor, 129 Mill St. in Bath. The meeting is open to the public in person, and available via Zoom or telephone.

***Motion to approve Entech Engineering to assist with the Goepp Street
Apartments heating conversion not to exceed $10,000.
***Motion to approve the washer and dryer quote with Kleckner and Sons
for all 3 properties not to exceed $45,000.
***Motion to approve ordering 4 money changers from OEM Equipment in
the amount of $8,887.20.
***Motion to allow the submission of the NOFO grant with HUD
