(Updates with comment from Superintendent Silva.)

The Bethlehem Area School District board of directors will meet tonight, as the BASD faces a potential tax increase for the 2026-27 school year.
I was looking for the agenda, but it was not available as of 4:55 p.m. because of a technical problem with Board Docs, the service the district uses to present some information.
The meeting is on, according to Superintendent Jack Silva.
In an email from Silva:
“Meeting is on. Agendas for public are available at the meeting.”
So it is going to be “old school.” Real paper and stuff.
From the website of Diligent, which operates Board Docs:

Tonight’s meeting is at East Hills Middle School at 7 p.m.
The BASD website says final budget adoption will be May 11.
Earlier this month, the BASD was facing an $11.7 million budget gap and thus a potential tax increase.
