A seven-unit apartment building on College Hill in Easton, near Lafayette College, has been sold for $1.125 million.
Northampton County recorded the sale of 133 Cattell St. on Oct. 26. The seller was a limited liability corporation, Cattell Corner. The buyer is MMA Marquis Holdings, which shares a Bethlehem address with Apex Management.
Apex manages and maintains apartments, single-family homes, office buildings, medical buildings, retail and industrial properties, according to its website.
A real estate ad says the building has seven apartments and “rents can be easily increased.”
The property was last sold in 2023 for $825,000, according to county records.
The name of the buyer, Marquis Holdings, is a reference to the Marquis de Lafayette, the French aristocrat who served in the Continental Army during the American Revolution.
His full name was Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roche Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette.
