Lower Saucon Township Council will meet Wednesday.

April 13, 2026

— Jeff Ward, Lehigh Valley News Briefs

Lower Saucon Township Council has a full agenda for Wednesday, including Police Chief Thomas Barndt’s 2025 annual report.

Council will also discuss the Easton Fish & Game Association’s plan to combine five parcels into two. The address given is 2595 Redington Road, and more generally “in the location of Riverside Drive, Redington Road, Route 78 and Route 33.”

Also up for Wednesday is Steel City Mennonite Church’s proposal to divide a lot, address given as 2173 Mixsell Ave. and 4291 Mathews Ave., into two parcels of land.

Council will also review and perhaps approve a pool pass agreement with Hellertown.

Lower Saucon is also proposing a public hearing for May 20 on an ordinance about data centers, as the township keeps up with other municipalities that are trying to get ahead of the huge server farms that serve big technology companies and the world of Artificial Intelligence.

Lower Saucon Township Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Town Hall, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike. The meeting will also be shown on YouTube.

See the township website for the agenda, which is subject to change.
