Bethlehem Pool Passes Are for Sale for Residents, Non-Residents Have to Wait Until April 20; Senior Citizens Who Live in the City Will Pay $70 for All Pools, All Summer

Bethlehem residents may purchase pool passes now, but non-residents have to wait until April 20.

The city has five public pools: Memorial (the regional pool), Clearview, Stark, Westside and Yosko, the four neighborhood pools.

I’ve provided a cut-and-paste version of the prices and policy below, but go to the website. Go to the Website! It’s a little complicated, the price policy. I find it a bit boggling, but I’m not a pool veteran. Longtime pool partiers no doubt will get it right away.

The daily rate for adult residents at Memorial Pool will be $9, and senior citizens (62 and up) will get in for $7. The neighborhood pool rate is $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens.

The season rate for a senior citizen is $70 and that covers all pools. Non-residents will have to pay $95. The senior rate for neighborhood pools is $60 for residents and $85 for those who live on the wrong side of the border.

The highest season rate is for non-resident adults 18 through 61 who want the all-pool pass: $115. For a non-resident 3 through 17, the cost is $105 for that pass.

That’s the price of not living in the paradise that is Bethlehem. Passes can be bought online, and a reminder, having a Bethlehem mailing address does not mean you are a Bethlehem resident.

There are rules about guests that I don’t need to understand, but if you do, they are on the website, link above. I suggest bringing only nice people.

The 2026 pool season starts June 6.

Everybody in the pool! And behave, here a couple of the rules:

— Family friendly bathing attire must be worn in the pool. Swim diapers need to be worn by patrons who are not potty trained. (Note, this does not give any age limit.)

— Alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products are not allowed on the premises. Anyone exhibiting such behavior will be required to leave without a refund.

— No glass containers. (This seems like common sense, but it happens a lot.)

I will add my own Ward Rule: be nice to the lifeguards and staff. OR ELSE!

When I was young I worked every kind of job there was, including “petroleum transfer engineer,” and 50 years later, I still remember people treating me as if I owned Sunoco, and not in a good way.

Here is a cut-and-paste version of the 2026 rates and rules but see the website. SEE THE WEBSITE. I find some of this to be complicated; indeed, I find many things to be complicated, so trust the website.

The City of Bethlehem has 5 pools for you to enjoy and help you stay cool in the summer months. They are Memorial, our regional pool, and Clearview, Stark, Westside, and Yosko, our neighborhood pools.
