Palmer Township to Review Phase 2 of New Easton Area High School; Total Cost Estimated at $298 Million

Palmer Township’s Planning Commission will review the second phase of construction of the proposed new Easton Area High School on May 12.

The township went over Phase 1. mostly athletic fields, in February. Phase 2 includes the actual school, parking and other facilities.

The project cost is estimated at $298 million, according to a presentation on the EASD’s website.

The Palmer Township Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, in the meeting room at the municipal building, 3 Weller Place.

Palmer Township’s role is to review the plan. The cost of the project is set by the Easton Area School District.

    too much money. Expand the one we have . Seems like yesterday I graduated 60 years ago think we were the 3rd class to graduate. Move the freshman class back out.
