Jersey Mike’s is coming to Bethlehem Square.

The fast-growing sandwich chain has posted a sign at 3926 Linden St., Suite 20. No information on an opening date was available. A Subway shop at Bethlehem Square closed more than a year ago.

Bethlehem Square, in Bethlehem Township, has three anchor stores: Giant, Walmart and Home Depot.

Jersey Mike’s has opened several locations in the region, including one at the Westgate Mall.

Peter Cancro founded the chain in 1975. It now has more than 4,000 shops open and under development, according to the chain’s website, and Jersey Mike’s is expanding into Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The company isn’t just growing in the number of locations. It plans an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of stock under the ticker JMKE.

With an IPO price estimated to be from $21 to $25, customers could choose to buy two sandwiches or one share of Jersey Mike’s stock.

In 2024, private equity funds managed by Blackstone agreed to acquire a majority stake in the chain, with Cancro keeping “a significant equity stake.”

Jersey Mike’s slogan: “A sub above.”

Will it be a stock above?

That I don’t know. There wasn’t anything going on inside, but these franchises usually don’t too long to set up.
